Working with the Formula Editor

In cases other than selection and search formulas—which you can define using the Select Expert and Search Expert—you create all formulas in the Formula Editor of Seagate Crystal Reports.

Accessing the Formula Editor

1. On the Insert menu, click Formula Field.
2. In the Field Explorer dialog box, highlight Formula Fields.
3. Click New.
4. In the Formula Name dialog box, enter the name of the formula you will create.
5. Click OK.

   The Formula Editor appears.
