Copying formulas from one report to another
You may want to copy a formula created in one report for use in another report. Copy the text formula from one report to another via the Clipboard.
To copy a formula from one report to another
- Select the formula field you want to copy in the report.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- Open the report you want to copy the formula to.
- Choose Paste from the Edit menu.
- When the program displays the object frame, drag the formula to the new location.
- To make changes to the formula, right-click the formula and choose Edit Formula from the shortcut menu.
The Formula Editor appears.
- Delete the old values and type in the new values, or select them from the Fields, Functions, and/or Operators tree.
Click Save then Close when finished.
